A limited number of scholarships are available for all ACT workshops and productions. Scholarship applications must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the first meeting of a production or workshop to be considered. Please contact the treasurer for more information.

Welcome to ACT's Fall Teen Production

Auditions

Auditions are scheduled for Wednesday, October 9th 5–9 PM

In preparation for auditions, please:

Sign up for an audition
Actors can prepare either a dramatic or comedic monologue of their choice. The monologue should be from a published play, and the actor should be prepared to answer questions about the character and the play.
Actors should also prepare to sing. The actor may choose their own piece, no longer than a minute, and sheet music must be provided by the actor. If the actor does not prepare their own song, they will be taught a brief piece from Scrooge.
Print, read, fill out and sign the following forms:

First Rehearsal

Our first rehearsal will be Tuesday, October 15th from 5:30–7:30 PM at ACT. We will be holding a parents meeting on Monday at 5:30 PM to recruit Committee Heads for Cast Party, T-shirts, Publicity, Tickets/box office, Raffle, Program, Costumes/makeup, Props, Sets, Bake Sale, and Run Crew.

About the Play

The musical closely follows the plot of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, in which the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge undergoes a profound experience of redemption over the course of a Christmas Eve night, after being visited by the ghost of his former partner Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas past, present and future.
