Thursday evening's performance has been rescheduled to Sunday at 6 PM. All tickets for Thursday's show will be honored for Sunday evening at 6:00 PM. Any ticket holders for Thursday who CANNOT make it to Sunday's show can exchange their tickets for another show. Note that the exchanges will be based on availability and same seats may not be available. Full refunds will be issued for those who cannot make it Sunday evening or to another show.

First Rehearsal

Our first rehearsal will be Monday, January 5th from 5:00–8:00 PM at ACT. We will be holding a parents' meeting on that date at 5:00 PM to recruit Committee Heads for Cast Party, T-shirts, Publicity, Tickets/box office, Raffle, Program, Costumes/makeup, Props, Sets, Bake Sale, and Run Crew.

About the Play

You can't stop the beat in this big and bold musical about one girl's inspiring dream to dance. It's 1962 in Baltimore, and the lovable plus-size teen Tracy Turnblad has only one desire — to dance on the popular Corny Collins Show. When her dream comes true, Tracy is transformed from social outcast to sudden star. She must use her newfound power to dethrone the reigning Teen Queen, win the affections of heartthrob Link Larkin, and integrate a TV network, all without denting her 'do!
