Sister Act Audition Instructions

Actors aged 7-12:

ACTING: Choose one of the following:

1. Prepare a comedic monologue no longer than one minute. The monologue cannot be from Sister Act, but instead should be from a play or musical in the same vein as Sister Act. Please be memorized
2. Prepare a reading from your favorite book, or fairy tale. This should be no longer than a minute. It does not have to memorized.

MUSIC: Choose one of the following:

1. Prepare a song in the vein as Sister Act, no longer than 32 bars. You must provide your own sheet music, and the song cannot be from Sister Act.
2. Practice on of the selections from Sister Act listed below. At auditions, you will go through this with the music director, and sing it back with piano accompaniment.

Actors aged 13+:
