A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare

Welcome to ACT's 2019 Spring Shakespeare Production.

Guides: Only one of the following paragraphs will be displayed at a time. Please make sure the information is accurate for each case.

regpreview: Registration for this production will open on January 25th on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS and will remain open UNTIL FULL. Please see the production page for more information.

regopened: Registration for this production is open now on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS and will remain open until filled. Please see the production page for more information.

regclosed: Registration for this production is now closed. Please see the production page for more information.

Acceptance into this production will be on a first-come-first-served basis. Children of ACT Board members are granted a limited early registration period. All ACTors accepted into the production must take part in an audition workshop to determine where they best fit into the production. Specific roles will be assigned at the sole discretion of the artistic staff/audition panel.

A draft of the full rehearsal schedule will be available from February 8th 18th, 2019. ACTors will only be required for rehearsals where their character is called. Absences are strongly discouraged, and more than two absences during the staging of any single scene will result in the ACTor being cut from the scene. Attendance is mandatory for all runs, technical and dress rehearsals from MONDAY APRIL 29TH ONWARD. All actors and one parent must attend an informational meeting on Tuesday, March 19th from 5:30–6:30 where we will share more details about the production, the audition process and begin sign-ups for volunteer committees.

All registration and audition forms (audition, measurement, health, liability and behavior) must be completed and received by Saturday, March 23rd. Payments will be due on Monday, April 1st.

Further audition workshop information and scheduling will be provided after registration is closed.

As is our standard policy, final casting decisions will not be made until after the first week of rehearsals. The staff will use this time to get to know the cast and explore the show.

If you have any questions about registration, please email ACTAuditions2019@gmail.com.
